Apologize

Dear Tina,

I am writing to apologize because last week you told me that this Friday everyone in class will go out for dinner and I said I would like very much to go, but I fear it will be impossible mission because my parents punished me for the disaster of my room. They told me that until I clean the room I couldn't go out with my friends, so hear is the problem.
Today is Wednesday, but I think that I can't clean my room before Friday because tonight I need to study in a friend house and I will stay there for two days. I hope you understand my situation, I need to pass these exams or I will have to repeat this course.
In summary, I hope that you really enjoy the dinner with the class. In Saturday I can probably clean my room and I will be free to go out.

Sorry,
Chus

My summer holidays, 2010

This summer, firs of all, I stayed in my house for half a month. In my house I did some homework and I went out with my friends some days. When july started I went to my village who is called Reolid and is placed in Albacete. In my village I visited many people of my family and some friends. One week later, I returned to Valencia because my father had to work and I stayed here another month. Finally, in august, I went another time to my village that was in party. In my village celebration the young people made "mini-parties" in many places and me and my friends had been made a mini-party in a friend's basement. We were in party for four days and one day later my parents and I returned again to Valencia. Here I finished a lot of homework and I went out with my friends and many german people from Nürnberg. In early september, before the end of holidays, I went to Albacete, to my aunt's house, I stayed there for only one day and I went out with a friend and her friends. After of all I finally returned to Valencia and in 15th of september the school started...

Free Software

The free
software is a software that can be used, studied and modified without restriction, and which can be copied and redistributed in modified or unmodified form without restriction. This type of software has a lot of controversy, because it's the future of softwares.

In my opinion, the free software is better than the proprietary software because you don't have to pay the licence and you can be modify all programs to make it better. Furthermore, the "creator" of free software was Richard Stallman, and it's one of my heroes.

On the other hand, many people think that the free software is complicated to be used and prefer staying with proprietary software in spite of the fact that they have to pay the licence programs.

Present Perfect

Form:

[has/have + past participle]

Examples:

  • You have seen that movie many times.

  • Have you seen that movie many times?

  • You have not seen that movie many times

We use the Present Perfect to say that an action happened at an unspecified time before now. The exact time is not important. You cannot use the Present Perfect with specific time expressions such as: yesterday, one year ago, last week, when I was a child, when I lived in Japan, at that moment, that day, one day, etc. We can use the Present Perfect with unspecific expressions such as: ever, never, once, many times, several times, before, so far, already, yet, etc.

Bobby McFerrin - Don´t Worry, Be Happy

The best song ever.

This is Bobby McFerrin's "Don't worry, be Happy" music video starring himself, Robin Williams and Bill Irwin.

Lyrics:

Here's a little song I wrote
You might want to sing it note-for-note;
Don't worry, be happy

In every life we have some trouble
but when you worry you make it double
Don't worry, be happy

Whistle!

Ain't got no place to lay your head
somebody came and took your bed;
Don't worry, be happy

The landlord say your rent is late
he may have to litigate;
Don't worry, be happy

Here, I'll give you my phone number
when you're worried, call me
I'll make you happy

Ain't got no cash, ain't got no style
ain't got no gal to make you smile
but don't worry, be happy

'Cause when you're worried, your face will frown
and that will bring everybody down
so don't worry, be happy

Whistle!

Now there, is this song I wrote
I hope you learned it note-for-note
like good little children
Don't worry, be happy

Listen to what I say;
In your life, expect some trouble
When you worry you make it double!
Don't worry, be happy!

Be happy now!
